Lift & Leveling Kits
Precision-installed suspension upgrades designed to improve stance, performance, and capability—without compromising ride quality or reliability.
Lift Kits vs. Leveling Kits
Not every suspension upgrade serves the same purpose. Choosing the right setup depends on how you drive, what you want to improve, and how you use your vehicle day to day.
Leveling Kits
Small lift — improves stance and tire clearance while keeping stock ride quality.
Best for: Daily drivers, mild off-road use, improved stance
Lift Kits
Larger lifts — add clearance and capability, but require considerations like UCAs and alignment.
Best for: Off-road capability, increased clearance, larger tires
We don’t sell “one-size-fits-all” suspension packages. Every recommendation is based on your vehicle, driving habits, and long-term reliability.
Not sure what’s right for your vehicle?
1. Vehicle & Usage Assessment
We start by understanding how you actually use your vehicle—daily driving, towing, weekend trails, or work use. This ensures your suspension upgrade matches your needs, not just a trend.
2. Quality Components Only
We work with proven suspension manufacturers and components designed to maintain ride quality, steering feel, and long-term durability. No cutting corners, no one-size-fits-all kits.
3. Proper Installation & Geometry
Every install is performed with suspension geometry in mind. We take the time to ensure components are installed correctly so your vehicle drives the way it should—both on and off the road.
4. Alignment & Final Inspection
Suspension work doesn’t end when the parts are bolted on. We strongly recommend alignment after installation and perform a final inspection to ensure everything meets our standards before the vehicle leaves our shop.
Our Approach to Lift & Leveling Kits
A suspension upgrade isn’t just about lifting a vehicle—it’s about how that vehicle drives, handles, and holds up over time. At Adams Auto Restyling, every lift or leveling kit is selected and installed with careful attention to geometry, ride quality, and real-world use.
We don’t chase maximum lift numbers. We focus on balanced, reliable setups that perform well, wear evenly, and keep your vehicle safe and comfortable to drive.

Not sure which option fits your vehicle and driving style?
Alignment
Any lift or leveling kit changes your vehicle’s suspension geometry. Proper alignment after installation is critical to ensure safe handling, predictable steering, and even tire wear.
We strongly recommend alignment following any suspension modification to bring steering angles back within specification and protect your investment. Skipping alignment can lead to rapid tire wear, poor handling, and unnecessary stress on suspension components.
Upper Control Arms (UCAs)
Depending on your vehicle and lift height, upgraded upper control arms may be recommended to maintain proper suspension geometry.
UCAs help restore alignment range, improve ball joint angles, and reduce stress on factory components—especially on vehicles with increased front lift. When required, they contribute to better ride quality, improved steering feel, and long-term durability.
We’ll advise if UCAs are beneficial or necessary based on your specific setup.
Tire Fitment & Wheel Considerations
Lift height alone doesn’t determine tire size compatibility. Wheel width, offset, tire design, and suspension geometry all play a role in proper fitment.
Larger tires may require additional considerations such as trimming, wheel spacers, or alignment adjustments to ensure adequate clearance and prevent rubbing. Our goal is to make sure your tires fit correctly, function properly, and perform as intended—on the road and off.
We help you choose a setup that works together, not just looks good on paper.
Ride Quality Expectations
Ride quality varies depending on lift height, component selection, and how the vehicle is used.
Leveling kits often maintain a near-factory ride
Small lifts can improve control and stance with minimal change in comfort
Larger lifts may feel firmer or more performance-oriented
We focus on balanced setups that deliver confident handling, predictable braking, and a comfortable driving experience without unnecessary compromise.
Long-Term Reliability
Our approach prioritizes reliability over maximum height. Every recommendation is made with long-term ownership in mind.
By selecting quality components, installing them correctly, and addressing supporting upgrades when needed, we help reduce premature wear, maintain proper handling, and extend the life of your suspension and steering systems.
The result is a setup you can enjoy daily—not just on install day.
We believe suspension upgrades should improve your vehicle, not create new problems. Our goal is a clean, reliable setup that performs well today and holds up for years to come.
We take the time to explain what’s required—and why—so you can make informed decisions and enjoy your vehicle without surprises.
Frequently Asked Questions
Lift & Leveling Kit FAQs
Suspension upgrades come with important considerations. Below are answers to the most common questions we hear about lift and leveling kits, installation, and what to expect after the work is complete.

Installation time varies depending on the vehicle and the type of kit being installed. Most leveling kits and small suspension lifts can be completed within a single day. Larger lifts or more complex setups may require additional time. We’ll provide a realistic timeline during your consultation.
Ride quality depends on lift height, component quality, and proper installation. Many leveling kits maintain a near-factory ride, while small suspension lifts can improve control and handling. Larger lifts may feel firmer or more performance-oriented. Our goal is always a balanced setup that drives well and feels predictable.
Yes. Any lift or leveling kit alters suspension geometry, which is why we include alignment as part of your installation package whenever applicable. This allows us to deliver a true turnkey setup—your vehicle leaves properly aligned, driving as it should, and ready for the road.
Including alignment helps ensure safe handling, predictable steering, and even tire wear, while eliminating the need for additional appointments or follow-up visits.
In most cases, suspension modifications do not automatically void a factory warranty. However, warranty coverage may be affected if a modification directly causes a related issue. We’re happy to discuss how suspension upgrades may apply to your specific vehicle and manufacturer.
Spacer leveling kits raise the front of the vehicle by adding a spacer above or below the factory strut, while strut-based leveling kits replace or modify the strut assembly. Strut-based options often provide improved ride quality and performance, but the best choice depends on your vehicle and intended use.
Yes, we can install customer-supplied parts. Our warranty in this case applies to the workmanship of the installation only.
If a customer-supplied part fails and the manufacturer replaces it, labor to remove and reinstall the replacement part is not covered and would be billed accordingly.
When you purchase parts through us, we do not mark them up above manufacturer pricing—we charge the same price you’ll find on the manufacturer’s website. While parts may occasionally be found cheaper through third-party marketplaces, manufacturers often do not honor warranty claims on parts purchased outside authorized channels.
Purchasing parts through us ensures full manufacturer warranty support and often saves money in the long run by avoiding repeat labor costs.

Zach made a great recommendation on the Old Man Emu overland suspension for my 2021 Ford Ranger. Also on the installation. Truck rides and handles great.
Went above and beyond to help me with a Leveling Kit for my 2019 Ram 2500! They were fast and worked around my schedule to allow for easier drop off and pickup.
Zach was outstanding! He was fair and honest and the results speak for themselves! So happy with how the work turned out. I will be going back in the future!
Every vehicle we work on is treated with the same attention to detail—whether it’s a mild leveling kit or a full suspension upgrade.
