Headlight restoration

Yellowed, cloudy headlights don't just look old — they cut your night-time visibility. We restore hazy, oxidized lenses to clear, bright, and safe, and seal them to keep it that way.

Why it matters

The difference done right

Premium products, trained hands, and pricing confirmed before any work begins.

Brighter, Safer Nights

Clear lenses let far more light out — a real safety upgrade after dark.

Restore, Don't Replace

A fraction of the cost of new headlight assemblies.

Factory-Fresh Look

Cut the yellow haze and bring back that crisp, new-car clarity.

Sealed to Last

We seal or UV-coat the lens so the clarity holds, not just for a week.

Any Vehicle

Cars, trucks, and SUVs — most factory lenses restore beautifully.

Quick Turnaround

Most vehicles are done same-day.

The process

The restoration process

01

Mask & Prep

We protect surrounding paint and trim before touching the lens.

02

Wet Sand

The oxidized, yellowed outer layer is carefully wet-sanded away in stages.

03

Polish & Clarify

The lens is machine-polished back to crystal clarity.

04

Seal & Protect

A protective sealant or UV coat locks in the clarity so it lasts.

The details

What you should know

Headlight lenses are polycarbonate, and Colorado sun slowly breaks down their factory UV coating — leaving them yellow, cloudy, and hazy. It's not just cosmetic: oxidized headlights can cut your usable light output dramatically, which matters on dark county roads and mountain drives.

Restoration removes that damaged outer layer, polishes the lens back to clarity, and seals it so the result lasts. It's a quick, affordable upgrade that makes an older vehicle look years newer and, more importantly, helps you see and be seen at night.

Serving Windsor, Fort Collins, Loveland, Greeley, and Northern Colorado.

Questions

Frequently asked

How long does headlight restoration last?

With a proper seal or UV coating, results last a good while — far longer than a quick toothpaste-style buff. Parking in shade and occasional care extends it further.

Is it cheaper than replacing my headlights?

Almost always, yes. Restoration is a small fraction of the cost of new headlight assemblies, which can be expensive on modern vehicles.

Will it pass inspection / improve my lights?

Clearing the haze lets significantly more light through, improving night-time visibility. Most oxidized-but-intact lenses restore very well.

Can all headlights be restored?

Most factory polycarbonate lenses restore beautifully. Lenses that are cracked, deeply damaged, or failing internally may need replacement — we'll assess honestly.
