What Makes Adams Auto Restyling Different?

Precision Tint. No Shortcuts.

It comes down to the films we use, the training we invest in, and the standards we follow on every vehicle.

We Only Use High-Quality Films

Not all entry-level window films are created equal. Many shops rely on dyed or metallic films that are more prone to fading, bubbling, and discoloration over time.

At Adams Auto Restyling, carbon film is our standard — delivering better color stability, cleaner appearance, and long-term performance without requiring an upgrade.

Expertise

Professional training sets the standard. While many installers in the industry are self-taught, consistent results require proper education and proven techniques.

Our team is certified through a leading U.S. window tint training center, ensuring precise installation, proper preparation, and results designed to last.

Film Selection

More options don’t always mean better decisions. Long lists of film tiers with minor differences often create confusion rather than clarity.

We simplify the process with a carefully curated selection. The choice is straightforward: privacy and appearance, or enhanced heat rejection and comfort.

Warranty

A quality window tint should be backed by more than promises. The films we install are supported by manufacturer-backed warranties covering issues like fading, bubbling, and discoloration.

We stand behind both our materials and our craftsmanship, giving you long-term confidence beyond the day of installation.

Standardized Procedures

Consistent results don’t happen by accident — they come from proven processes. Every vehicle follows the same preparation and installation procedures.

From glass cleaning to film handling, our standardized approach minimizes variables and ensures clean, repeatable, high-quality results every time.

Financing Available

Quality window tint should be accessible without compromising standards. That’s why we offer flexible financing options for professional installation and premium films.

Financing allows you to get the comfort, protection, and performance you want now — without settling for lower-quality alternatives.

Common Window Tint Misconceptions

Window tinting is often misunderstood, and poor assumptions can lead to disappointing results and unnecessary costs. Below are some of the most common misconceptions we hear — and the truth behind them.

Film quality varies widely. Lower-cost films often rely on dyed or metallic layers that can fade, discolor, or break down over time — which is why you still see vehicles with purple, bubbling, or hazy tint.

Premium films are engineered for long-term color stability, optical clarity, and consistent performance. While they may cost more upfront, they are designed to last longer and deliver better value over time.

While the basic steps of installing window tint may appear similar, the level of precision, preparation, and craftsmanship varies significantly from shop to shop. The difference between an install that looks great for years and one that develops issues early on comes down to training, process, and attention to detail.

At Adams’ Auto Restyling, our installers are professionally trained and certified through one of the leading window tint training programs in the United States — not self-taught through trial and error. Every vehicle goes through a structured cleaning and preparation process designed to minimize contamination and ensure proper adhesion, resulting in a clean, long-lasting, factory-quality finish.

Darker does not automatically mean better. Modern window films can provide excellent UV and heat rejection without significantly reducing visibility. Choosing the right film and shade is about balancing comfort, clarity, privacy, and legal requirements — not just going as dark as possible.

We help every customer choose the option that best fits their vehicle, driving habits, and goals.

Factory privacy glass darkens the glass itself but does not provide the same level of UV or heat protection as professionally installed window film. Window tint adds functional benefits beyond appearance, including UV protection and interior preservation.

Ceramic window tint isn’t about the badge on your vehicle — it’s about comfort, performance, and long-term protection. Ceramic films are designed for drivers who want improved heat rejection, clarity, and durability, regardless of whether they drive a daily commuter or a high-end vehicle.

Window tint is durable, but proper care during the curing period is critical. Rolling down windows too soon or cleaning with harsh chemicals can damage the film before it fully sets. Following recommended aftercare ensures your tint cures properly and performs as intended.

While tint certainly enhances appearance, its primary benefits extend well beyond aesthetics. Quality window film protects interior materials, reduces glare, improves comfort, and enhances the overall driving experience.

Discoloration is not inevitable — it’s a sign of lower-quality film breaking down over time. Premium window films are engineered with stable materials designed to maintain their color and clarity for years. When properly installed, high-quality tint should look just as good long after installation as it did on day one.

Choosing the Right Tint

Colorado Window Tint Laws

Understanding Colorado window tint regulations helps you choose a tint that looks great and stays compliant. While we’re happy to guide you, it’s ultimately the vehicle owner’s responsibility to ensure compliance with all state and local laws.

Colorado tint laws can be confusing—especially when balancing heat rejection, privacy, and appearance. Our team is happy to explain legal tint options and how different films perform before installation.

If you have any questions or concerns about tint legality, please ask our team when dropping off your vehicle so we can ensure you’re confident in your selection.

Visible Light Transmission

Visible Light Transmission (VLT) is the percentage of visible light that passes through your windows.

  • Windshield:
Installed film of any darkness is allowed only on the top 4 inches of the windshield.

  • All Remaining Windows:
Installed film must measure lighter than 27% visible light transmission (VLT)
A 3-percentage-point measurement variance is allowed.

Selecting the correct VLT helps ensure your vehicle remains legal while still improving comfort, glare reduction, and UV protection.

Type of Vehicle Matters

Colorado tint laws apply differently depending on the type of vehicle and window location.

  • Applies to cars, SUVs, vans, RVs, campers, and pickup trucks

  • Windshield rules are more restrictive than side and rear windows

  • Our team can help explain how the law applies to your specific vehicle

Understanding these differences helps avoid compliance issues after installation.

No Mirrors or Metallics

Colorado law restricts certain tint styles regardless of darkness.

  • No metallic window film

  • No mirrored or reflective appearance of any kind

  • No red or amber tint

We only install high-quality, non-reflective films that meet legal requirements and provide long-term performance.

Medical Exemptions

Colorado does not allow window tint exemptions for medical reasons.
All vehicles must comply with the same tint regulations, regardless of medical conditions.

Legal Doesn't Have To Mean Basic

Modern ceramic window films can significantly reduce heat, glare, and UV exposure without going darker.

You can stay compliant while still enjoying premium performance, comfort, and protection.

Ceramic films provide performance benefits without relying on darker shades.
