Ram 1500 leveling kits
Whether your Ram 1500 rides on coil springs or the optional air suspension, it can sit level. We install the right kit for your setup, check the fit of any larger tires, and set the alignment afterward.
Coil springs or air suspension
Like most half-ton trucks, the Ram 1500 sits lower in front than in back so it stays level with a load. Leveling it starts with one question: does your truck have the standard coil spring suspension or the optional air suspension?
Coil spring trucks are leveled with front spacers or a leveling kit, much like other half-tons. Air suspension trucks set their ride height from sensors, so they are typically leveled with adjustable sensor links that tell the system to hold a higher front height. That keeps the air suspension working, including its height modes.
Not sure whether you want a level or a true lift? Read leveling kit vs. lift kit, or see everything we install on our lift and leveling page.
How we level a Ram
Every truck is quoted individually. These are the setups we recommend most often.
Front leveling kit
Front spacers or a leveling kit raise the nose to roughly match the rear while keeping the factory ride feel.
Sensor link leveling
Adjustable height sensor links raise the front ride height the air system holds, without replacing the air suspension.
Leveling kit and larger tires
Pairs the kit with a slightly taller tire. Size depends on trim, wheel and offset, and we confirm fit first.
What to know about your Ram
Know your suspension
Check your window sticker or tell us the trim and options, and we will confirm whether your Ram has coil springs or air suspension before quoting.
Classic, TRX and Rebel
The Ram 1500 Classic, TRX and Rebel differ from a standard 1500, so kits and options vary. Tell us the exact model and year.
Alignment + torque check
We set the alignment after the install, and after 500 miles we re-torque every bolt we touched during the install, at no charge.

Ram leveling FAQ
Can you level a Ram 1500 with air suspension?
Yes. Air suspension Ram 1500s are typically leveled with adjustable height sensor links, which tell the system to hold a higher front ride height. The air suspension keeps working normally, including its height settings.
How do I know if my Ram 1500 has air suspension?
It is an option on many trims, so the window sticker is the easiest place to check. Trucks with it usually have ride height controls on the dash. If you are not sure, send us the trim and year and we will help you confirm.
How much lift does a Ram 1500 leveling kit add?
Most Ram 1500 leveling setups raise the front around two inches, which closes most of the factory rake. We recommend the height that levels your truck.
What size tires fit a leveled Ram 1500?
It depends on trim, wheel width and offset. Leveling usually adds room for a somewhat larger tire, and we confirm fitment for your exact truck before you buy.
Do you check the install after I drive on it?
Yes. Every leveling install includes a complimentary 500-mile torque check. After about 500 miles, bring your truck back and we re-torque every bolt we touched during the install, at no charge.
How much does it cost to level my Ram?
It depends on your year, trim and the kit you choose, so we quote each truck individually. Send us the details and we will give you a straight price, including the alignment, before any work begins.
