Toyota Tacoma leveling kits
Tacomas are everywhere on Northern Colorado roads, and the factory nose-down stance is easy to spot. A leveling kit squares up the stance and makes room for a slightly larger tire while keeping the comfortable daily ride — installed to spec with the alignment set afterward.
Why Tacoma owners level
Toyota sets the Tacoma lower in front so it rides level with gear in the bed. On a truck that mostly carries a commute, that rake is easy to see. Depending on the generation and trim, many Tacomas carry a couple of inches or more of front-to-rear difference.
The Tacoma changed platforms for 2024, so the right kit depends on whether you have the earlier generation or the newer one. Midsize trucks are also more sensitive to front suspension angles, which is why we level to a sensible height rather than chasing the biggest number.
Not sure whether you want a level or a true lift? Read leveling kit vs. lift kit, or see everything we install on our lift and leveling page.
How we level a Tacoma
Every truck is quoted individually. These are the setups we recommend most often.
Front leveling kit
Raises the front to roughly match the rear for a level stance while keeping factory ride quality.
Leveling kit and larger tires
Pairs the kit with a slightly taller tire. Fitment depends on generation, trim, wheel and offset, and we confirm it first.
Leveling with rear lift
A small amount of added height at both ends for owners who want more presence without a large lift.
What to know about your Tacoma
Generation matters
Earlier Tacomas and the 2024-and-newer trucks use different suspension designs. Tell us the year and trim so we quote the right kit.
Sensible height
Moderate leveling keeps front suspension angles in a comfortable range for a truck that is driven every day.
Alignment + torque check
We set the alignment after the install, and after 500 miles we re-torque every bolt we touched during the install, at no charge.

Tacoma leveling FAQ
How much lift does a Tacoma leveling kit add?
Many Tacoma leveling kits raise the front a couple of inches or a bit more, depending on generation and trim. We recommend a height that levels your truck and keeps the ride comfortable for daily driving.
Do 2024 and newer Tacomas use the same kits as older ones?
No. The Tacoma moved to a new platform for 2024, so kits for earlier trucks generally do not fit the newer generation. Tell us your year and trim and we will quote the right parts.
What size tires fit a leveled Tacoma?
Fitment depends on the generation, trim, wheel width and offset. Leveling usually adds room for a slightly larger tire, and we confirm fit for your exact truck before you buy.
Will leveling my Tacoma make the ride stiffer?
A quality leveling kit installed to spec keeps a ride close to factory. Larger lifts change the feel more, and we explain the tradeoffs before any work begins.
Do you check the install after I drive on it?
Yes. Every leveling install includes a complimentary 500-mile torque check. After about 500 miles, bring your truck back and we re-torque every bolt we touched during the install, at no charge.
How much does it cost to level my Tacoma?
It depends on your year, trim and the kit you choose, so we quote each truck individually. Send us the details and we will give you a straight price, including the alignment, before any work begins.
